![]() Heck Deck has some serious staying power and much more depth than I originally thought. It’s probably just there so you can make room for better cards, since you can only hold a total of seven at one time. I thought they might get stronger after sitting in the water for a while but haven’t noticed anything changing. As far as the discard section (pool of water), I believe it’s just for storing away unwanted cards that can then be gathered next time you’re at the shop. In the shop, buying cards takes health away but you can fill it back up by selling unwanted cards. As you know, time stops when you stop moving so take advantage of that by using the inspect feature (magnifying glass) and plan your path and attacks before you start moving again. Patience is the key to success, so take your time. The number on the bottom right of the cards is the damage they’ll do and the stopwatch in the upper left is how fast the projectile travels (not 100% on that, but pretty sure - if anyone else knows please share). To answer your question about the fully colored cards, they can be used during the cooldown period. I’m beginning to see more new cards show up that do some really cool things. I made it to the 4th level today which felt like quite an accomplishment. But I want to know what they are at least lol. Even with them I will probably start from one and try to go on one go. Just wish I knew some of the cards and how to get the checkpoints. Controls were hard at first but then become very easy to use. ![]() Wonder how many card there are to discover. But I still haven’t unlocked any checkpoints. Also anyone here know how to unlock the checkpoints ? I have beaten the first boss a few times and made it to the second boss. Would love explanations on cards found or used. And some I just can’t figure out what they do. The fully colored cards between turns dont seem to do anything other then the regular ones. There are a few cards I have no clue what they do. I did live figuring things out on my own. The strategy created by the use of cards mixed with the dexterity required during the bullet hell phases makes Heck Deck truly unique!įirst off I am loving this game. Dozens of attacks and spells for the player.5 different levels with their own music. Each level of the game has its own universe, its own music, its own set of enemies, and of course, its own boss. The abstract and minimalist world of Heck Deck is created with a cute hand-drawn art style. Each card you pick up will cost you at least one life point, so you will have to be careful about which ones you pick on your way. Throughout 5 different stages, Heck Deck will challenge your precision and dexterity during the bullet hell phases and your strategy when using your cards. Explore 5 stages full of unique enemies and bosses, discover dozens of cards, and visit shops to buy and sell cards for health! DetailsHeck Deck is a bullet hell card game where all the bullets are cards and time only progresses as you move.
